Camel & Biker Trousers..

I have found my new favourite leather pants, thanks to Zara. I literally live in leathers, if I find the right pair I tend to find them really comfortable and just so easy to wear! They go with everything, from jumpers and t-shirts during the day, to sparkly tops and shirts for a night time outfit. I've been on the hunt for some a new dressy pair for a while since my last pair (sadly) ripped, maybe I wore them a little too much.. I spotted these hanging up and knew I had to have them! I'll be wearing them this festive season with heels and a festive inspired top, or with a cosy jumper like I am here.

Gatsby Glamour..

Missguided. Topshop. River Island. Nearly everywhere you look at the moment every shop or online website is embracing the feathered and fluffy trend, from dresses to co-ords, furry embellishments on heels and bob hats with too cute fluffy pompoms. This dress from Topshop had been on my wish list for a while, the black version seemed to be extremely popular and as soon as I saw the white version it had to be mine. I was attending a 20's themed Christmas dinner party, and while the theme was optional (only about two people stuck to it, I believe!!) I still wanted to give a nod to what I believe is one of the most important Fs in regards to 1920's fashion, feathers and fringe. I included my favourite old faithful nude ASOS clutch and also added gold jewellery and shoes to give it the standard Christmas party sparkle. I wanted to add a few pictures, not the best quality, but at least I had a red carpet to compliment the glamour of the 1920's era...

Travel Diary: London

London is one of my favourite cities in the world. I never get tired of visiting as there is always a new place to explore, sight to see, shop to browse or restaurant to indulge in. That was the case when I visited this weekend with friends for a birthday trip, unbelievably, I had never been on the London Eye in all of the years I had been visiting the bright lights of the city, and although I had been to Madame Tussauds years previously, it was nice to see what had change and experience it again with friends. The Saturday and Sunday passed in a blur and most of it was spent eating, seeing and shopping, but here are a few pictures I managed in between spending time in the festive atmosphere of London..

Staying close to Covent Garden and nearer to the centre was a nice change, it has always been one of my favourite places and the Christmas decorations add to that.

Laduree Macaroons are simply heaven. As you can see I am a Salted Caramel fan. Melt in the mouth.

Then had a Shake Shake before we headed off to see the London Eye.. Yes it is as good as it looks.

Wandering friends..

I am so glad I finally went on the London Eye, the views were amazing, it is a must do when in the city.

We were lucky enough to be on the eye when the sun was setting, allowing us to witness the most beautiful sky.

Friends and birthday celebrations :).

I would definitely recommend the pancakes from Bills, maple syrup, strawberry, blueberry                                          and banana was a combination, but a good one.

What are your favourite places to visit in London? xx

Knee Highs and Breton Stripes..

I don't know why I haven't purchased a pair of knee high boots before now. I love the way they look on other people, and whenever I see someone rocking a pair of Russell and Bromley thigh highs it makes me want some even more. I spotted these in Zara the other day and couldn't believe how affordable they were, a beige/stone coloured pair were there too but it was the black I fell in love with. These will be getting a lot of wear over the next couple of months, and really are the perfect footwear choice to pull together a casual outfit.

I Love Marc Jacobs..

Marc Jacobs & cats. Two of my favourite things. If you've read any of my previous posts you'll know I am obsessed with bright colours, and love wearing some bright summer pieces in the winter months (who said you can't?!) I bought this bright pink Marc by Marc Jacobs bag and Marc by Marc Jacobs cat hat, during the summer sales. I couldn't wait to wear the hat during cold and crisp November days like today, the camel coloured texture with fuchsia coloured kitty is just too cute. Cult Zara fans will probably remember this woolly hooded coat from last year, another one I wasn't able to resist. This is a staple winter coat that will remain in my wardrobe as long as it lasts.
